This charge is made only when we are hired to conduct only a Graveside Committal Service such as when remains are received from an out of town funeral home or an out of state death. Transportation fees are extra.
CASH ADVANCES / OUTSIDE EXPENSES
Outside Expenses/Cash
Advances/Accommodation Items are expenses that occur at the time of a
funeral or memorial service. This can include items such as, but not
limited to Grave Opening/Closing fees, rental of cemetery equipment from
the vault company, gratuities or honorariums to clergy/eulogist, musicians and
singers, obituaries, marker etching and other fees associated with service
arrangements. These items are NOT funeral home charges although the
funeral director may offer to have the funeral home write checks for these items
on your behalf.
A CASH DOWN PAYMENT may be required to cover these expenses on your behalf.
