companion urns and jewelry are available at the funeral home.
Cremation urns are not required for burial in most
cemeteries.
Burial vaults for cremated remains or cremation urns may be
required by some cemeteries.
In Michigan, it is NOT illegal to scatter
cremated remains on the ground, over water or from the air.

Forwarding of Remains To Another Funeral Home
Also called a "Service Call" for the receiving funeral home. This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of funeral director and staff, embalming, receptacle for remains, obtaining necessary authorizations and local transportation to airport. It does NOT include the service of staff or the use of facilities for any viewing (visitation, wake, or family hour) or rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding the remains OR common carrier charges. Local service is charged at the normal rate for services selected and ceremonies conducted locally. If most of the arrangements are handled by the receiving funeral home, we will act solely as an agent for that firm and bill that firm for services rendered locally.

This charge includes receiving the remains from the
shipping funeral home, temporary shelter of remains, obtaining necessary
authorizations, local transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory and
basic services of funeral director and staff. It does NOT include the
services of staff or the use of facilities for any viewing (visitation, wake, or
family hour) or rites or ceremonies after receiving the remains, common carrier
charges, or transporting the remains from the airport or other transport
destination.
